Anyone… ANYONE who has kids, no matter WHAT your parenting type or strategies KNOWS it doesn’t ALWAYS work out the way you had hoped or dreamed of!
Kids can be absolute ??!
Let’s just clear that elephant in the room right up!
They WILL throw “developmental” tantrums.
They WILL leave you “red faced” in public places… usually the SO NOT appropriate forums of course.
They WILL push ALL your buttons… especially when your system is clearly on overload!
They will need when you have NOTHING left.
They will “box your balls” on things that are ridiculous.
I mean… “No… (with baby in arms and dog on lead) do NOT run, EVER out on the road!!!!”
“But mum… I know what I’m doing!”
There WILL be days, months even years, where YOUR world is literally falling apart BUT… you do EVERYTHING in your power to make it work for THEM!!!
You guessed it… you cooked the eggs wrong or forgot a birthday party invite ??♀️??… side note… what genuine idiot removed the middle finger from the hand emoji section???

I am NOT the perfect mum and I honestly don’t believe that ideology even exists.
The closest ANYONE can ever hope for is to LOVE with all their heart and keep their cool… especially on the days when the kids are pushing hard, life is falling down AND you are ready to throw in the towel!
Yep… those days ARE real AND… fairly common for many.
